Classification of concrete foundation ground mounted pv systems

30 Sep 2020
There are many types of concrete foundation solar mounting structures for ground power stations. According to different project geological conditions, the corresponding installation methods can be selected. The following mainly introduces the most common types of cast-in-place reinforced concrete foundations, independent and strip concrete foundations, and precast concrete hollow column ground solar mounting foundations.

1.Cast-in-place concrete piles and cast-in-place anchor rods.
Advantages: Small amount of earthwork excavated from cast-in-place reinforced concrete foundation, low cost and fast construction speed.
Disadvantages: The construction of cast-in-place reinforced concrete foundation is subject to environmental factors such as season and weather, and has high construction requirements. Once completed, it cannot be adjusted.

2.Independent and strip concrete foundation
Advantages: Independent and strip concrete foundation adopts reinforced extended foundation, simple construction method, strong geological adaptability, foundation embedded depth can be relatively shallow.
Disadvantages: Large amount of independent and strip concrete foundation works, more manpower required, large amount of earthwork excavation and backfill, long construction period, great damage to the environment.

3.Precast concrete hollow column foundation
Advantages: The precast concrete hollow column foundation is widely used in power stations with poor geological conditions, such as hydro-optical complementary power stations and tidal flat power stations. At the same time, due to the advantages of the foundation height, it is also used in mountain solar power stations and agricultural complementary power stations.
Disadvantages: Underwater construction is difficult, point determination is difficult, and it is greatly affected by environmental factors.
